About the assignment
OR volume has grown significantly to approximately 400 surgeries per month. The department is currently staffed with 5 CRNAs and needs 8. The team is actively recruiting to support continued growth and to provide coverage for an upcoming paternity leave.
This is a high-autonomy CRNA practice with minimal physician supervision. CRNAs are expected to practice independently and manage cases confidently, on a collaborative anesthesia team with a strong emphasis on clinical judgment and efficiency.
Providers frequently care for higher-acuity patients despite many lower-risk procedural cases, so comfort managing medically complex patients independently is important.
Interview process: name clear and presentation, then a medical/technical interview with the respective department head, then an informal meet and greet with the Chief Medical Officer.
