About the assignment
One CRNA is needed for 40 scheduled hours a week across a Level II trauma hospital, a second hospital campus and an ambulatory surgery center in the Fredericksburg area. This is the scheduled-hours posting for this client; a separate call-only beeper posting for the same sites is also on the board.
Call is in-house, once every eight weeks, with a 45-minute response time, covering both new and assigned patients. No admissions.
Every case type is in scope — cardiac, complete ortho, complex vascular, head and spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional and thoracic — and the skills list on this requisition is marked required rather than preferred, with the exceptions of neonatal, open heart, epidural steroids, x-ray-guided blocks and arterial lines.
You must be licensed in Virginia to bid, board certified in the specialty, and hold ABLS, ACLS, BLS and PALS. Credentialing runs about 90 days and temporary privileges are not available.
