About the assignment

Two southwest Idaho sites, one in Boise and one in Nampa, need more full-time locum CRNA coverage. Between them the work spans 17 main operating rooms, a 7-room day surgery center, and specials including cath labs, endoscopy and radiology, all on Epic.

Trauma cases are the majority of the work. CRNAs here perform spinal blocks only and do not perform regional anesthesia. Patients run adolescent through geriatric, with more than 90% over the age of 12.

The schedule is a mix of 8s and 10s each week with 12s available, 40 hours guaranteed. Call is one weeknight a month plus one weekend, and you will be asked to confirm you will cover it before your name is cleared.

Full time is a hard requirement. The client is specifically holding off on providers who cannot cover full time and need to travel home every month. Locums may work 12 consecutive months, then must take a 6-month break before returning for another 12.

Credentialing runs about 90 days and the facility does not reimburse application or credentialing fees, so having your documents ready genuinely shortens the runway.
